4 LAPS and a crew with BRAPP!

Hello Troops,

This past Tuesday saw a smaller group but we made up for it in the amount and quality of rippage. The Coalition Sampled 3 different trails on Moose mountain and hit up "JG on the rocks," twice. Some of the trails droppin into the West side of Moose are running so well as a result of the trail day.... amping up that stoke!

Big thanks out to the "shuttle king," Aj Cleary! For giving up his evening to come shuttle the Coalition while nursing an injury.

Shuttle karma heals buddy.... It's better than milk! Many, many thanks... and I am sure you will be back to your constant pinned self in no time.

It looks like the next Coalition night will be on the 8th. With many of us on holidays and involved in the Psychosis downhill race in Golden... I had to postpone. Lets meet @ 1700 @ CC or 1830 @ Station Flats. As always, a heads up for the Station Flats meeting site would be appreciated.

We will make up the missed evening ride with a weekend event sometime in the near future.



Summer is here folks.... so get out and ride!

Tuesday flow anyone?

Hello Coalitionites!

Mission 1 on Moose was a grand success! Smiles and high fives all around and the start of the coalition season has taken flight.

Stoked for tomorrow! Last Tuesday we ripped a couple of laps on ROS... got to get to know each other and I gotta say the dynamic of the group was fantastic. After just 2 laps, it seemed like you have all been riding with each other for years. Great to see!

For this week the plan is to mix it up a little and ride a combination of both the East and West side trails of the mountain. A good old school new school balance.

Lets aim to meet at CC for 17:00 hrs or station flats for 18:30. If you prefer the latter, please let me know VIA my email addy listed below or contact Calgary Cycle. I need to have an idea on numbers to dial in the shuttling logistics previous.

See you tomorrow.... I am thinking 3 lap minimum possibilities!

Hello Troops!

Finally things are looking a little more like summer around here. Tuesday June 17th marks the inaugural strike of the Coalition.

As stated in previous blogs lets meet @ Calgary Cycle for 17:30 hrs. If you have any concerns or prefer a different meeting place don't hesitate to drop me an email.

We will stick with the previous plan of an invasion on Moose mountain were there are ample treats to satisfy a wide range of rider capabilities. Fortunately, several of the trails have just received a much needed buffing on the weekend. So get stoked to ride the goods and Kudos to all those volunteers that came out and got involved.

Not much for rules at this point... all I ask, is you all have a better riding attire than these guys!

Coalition Tuesday June 10th cancelled due to weather

Sorry Troops! But tonight's ride has been cancelled due to the evidently sloppy conditions out at Moose Mountain. This weather has been relentless, it's friends off with this mother nature chick. It is certainly not a goal to be fair weather riders here at the coalition but Bragg Creek has seen so much moisture in the last 24 hrs that riding the trails would be very damaging. So I had to call it!

I am thinking blue skies and big smiles for every other Tuesday.

On a side note, the weather is looking better later in the week and there are plans VIA the Moose trail association for some riding this Friday evening. If any Coalitionites are down... check out this article @
