BIKES!!!

Hello Coalition,

Well, last week was a great Wed and inaugural evening out at Moose.  After a sloppy first lap on Shaft, we decided it best to give the trails some time to dry out, so we teamed up with the MMBTS trail night on Family Guy for a few hours to get our trail karma back.  110 new meters of bench-cut were completed that evening.  Keep it coming and if you haven't had you opportunity to get intimate with a pick and move some dirt then just speak up.  We can hook you up.  email info@mmbts.com.  A couple Coalition stars in Rob and Sean spent the whole evenin digging.  No democracy for these cats for first three hits this week.

With a hour and half of daylight left the trails were looking dry again, so we decided to captivate on the longest day of the year and snag a couple more laps.   A quick rip on JohnGuy and the riding stoke was back in a flash.  Other than the shock from sharing a berm with a black bear I could sense that we are going to gel well as a group this season.  Then it was a final dusk run on the longest day of the year down Toothless.  Good times.

This week hopefully the trails are a little drier and we can up the lap count accordingly.  5 in Bowness or 530ish at Ings mine.  Please send me an email if you are coming at regmullett@hotmail.com.  The Coalition is a little more popular this year so I will have to do a first to reply - first to have a seat reserved basis.

Cheers,

Reg

Wednesday Solstice Moose laps

Hello Coalition,

Its the longest day of the year this Wednesday lets get at it.  Moose laps unless the weather really messes with our plans.  I say we commit regardless and get an onsite assessment.  If its really wet we could team up with the Hill Family and assist on the Family guy build for a couple of hours.

Thinking 5 in Bowness or 6 at Ings mine.  An email heads up is mucho appreciated.

Lets ride,

Reg

2012 shredding

Hello Coalition,

Its time to get the season rolling.

This year we are fortunate enough to have access to the MMBTS van graciously donated by GSL Chev city for use on our Weekly shuttle nights.  I know you will all be missing the gnome, lack of rear windows and sketchy atmosphere of the pil van of previous years but times are a changing.

I wanted to do a little poll on what night works best for everyone.  Tuesday or Wednesday?  If you could please inform in comments or via email that would be appreciated.

I was thinking this Wednesday would be a great time to start the shuttle season at Moose.  Current forecast isn't the best but may still be manageable.  Please confirm if you are in via email at regmullett@hotmail.com.  6 at Ings mine.  We can also arrange a car pool from the city if there is plenty of interest for this week.

Cheers,

Reg
